Thomas ‘Mitch’ Mitchener is a producer and mixer who is carving out a niche as the breakthrough producer for an exciting new generation of British music. With his experience, wide range of skills, humble nature & his own studio space he is the epitome of what a modern producer should be.

Mitch has built up an impressive portfolio with projects including releases from the likes of Frank Carter & The RattlesnakesThe FutureheadsLa Roux / Tyler, The CreatorGallowsCounterfeit, Dead!, The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Hello Operator and Asylums. This year alone, Mitch has produced and mixed the much anticipated Bryde album ‘The Volume Of Things’, the debut Naked Six album ‘Lost Art Of Conversation’ as well as singles by hotly tipped Wargasm and Chappaqua Wrestling

Showcasing his multitude of talents, he produced, engineered, mixed and performed as bassist on two Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes albums, the acerbic punk thrash debut of ‘Blossom’ as well as their follow up ‘Modern Ruin’, both of which enjoyed chart success and the latter reaching #7 on the Official UK Albums Chart. 

In particular, Mitch has become a versatile and in-demand mix engineer. His recent mix credits include La Roux / Tyler, The CreatorWe Are Scientists, and the critically acclaimed 2019 album ‘Powers’ by the mighty Futureheads, having previously mixed singles and remixes for artists including Minus The Bear, Kid Kapichi, Strange Bones and live tracks for Queens Of The Stone AgeYoung Guns & Pure Love among others. In 2020 he has also been working with a raft of exciting new rising talents, including LOOK MUM NO COMPUTERWill & The PeopleFanny AndersenBellatrix, Vukovi, Zand among others.

A multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, bass, keys, sax and drums (among others) as well as a trained sound engineer and Pro Tools operator, his experience brings an understanding of the artists he works with. Mitch knows the concerns and creative desires of his artists because he’s been there himself; his background creates a productive studio vibe, while his touring experience brings an intimate knowledge of band dynamics.
